Mortvi? Who the hell are they? Those are our old friends the Death Eaters. After the fall of their not-so-great master they've come to a new name. Mortvi = Dead Men. Not so far off, in the same ballpark, don't you think? Why isn't the Order still active? As we've known, the Order has been troopers through the worst times. But now that the Mortvi/Death Eaters are in charge, they know who the Order is, and has jailed and killed some. The rest are used for humiliation by the Mortvi just to show who's boss to the rest. They are completely inactive though many help Illustro while Mortvi heavily watches the older generation of freedom fighters, unaware of the newer generation. And what the hell is Umbra Populus? You remember the Inquisitorial Freelance, non Latin, and what the hell? No, freelance is not a Latin word. But it is an organization. You know Bono and how he starts something new like every two years to make the world a better place? Think of Freelance as (RED). They're a formation of people working to help better the world, usually cleaning up the messes the Mortvi has caused. They help fix the businesses and houses that have been destroyed in the war, they teach children magic. (Most parents don't send their children to Hogwarts anymore.) Weren't the Malfoy's good again at the end of the book? Why is Draco in Umbra Populus? Well kids, let's think about it. Lucius would know better than to play the brave Gryffindor when his peers now run the world. Him and his family are following orders, though think on their own when nobody's around to notice it. Its obvious it wouldn't be wise to prove the traitor to the Mortvi. Lucius is already low on the list. What's the deal with the one new female Mortvi? Agh, this is a very tight subject. We're open to letting only one more female to be in Mortvi. She is a very hard place to win, very very hard. Us Mods have seen quite enough of the same carbon copy whore-Death Eater, we'd like to see someone who will actually refuse the advances and who are in it for the business. Wow us with your application, we really are tired of the same thing. Don't let us down. No age limit? The person that came up with this game has been patronized for her age her entire life, and prefers not to play the hypocrite by antagonizing everybody else. No age limit; simply be mature. Why are Colin and Bella alive? Well, let's face it. Colin was just too much of a little freedom fighter to let die, and Lestranges aren't so strange with out the crazy bitch. So we decided we would keep the dead and say other unknown students died because well they just don't matter. You know you wanted Colin alive. But anyway, if they're not on the character list and they died in the book, they're dead. Can my character tell she/he is in Illustro/Umbra Populus etc? Oh my god, no. No no no. Not unless you're in Freelance, that's the only thing that's technically allowed. If your character tells...how do you say this nicely. They will die. Mkay? Anybody in Illustro who is found out will be labeled terrorists. And then? Well. And if your neighbors find out you're in Mortvi and you're in their reach? Dead. Please no. Do children still go to Hogwarts? Yes. The families who are well off enough or their parents have officially been cleared allow their children to go to Hogwarts. If they aren't, Freelance is teaching them magic. Who is going to school and who's not is not something that concerns the Mortvi. They teach the students if they go to Hogwarts. All the good teachers are in hiding. Even Slughorn, god bless his heart. So what about Muggles and Halfbloods? Muggles are going to start to be attacked, on a larger and larger scale. Halfbloods are standing on a border line, if your character is a Halfblood they will be visited by our friends in the government. You better say you're on their side. And the people who aren't in organizations? If you're in Illustro or Umbra Populus you're going to be listed as not in a club. But you're talking about the neutrals. Well. Think about it, there are so many jobs to be covered. Working for the undercover radio broadcasting shows, being a part of the media is a big big thing. That's what they can be doing. What about newspapers? Professional Quidditch? Will businesses have ties to other countries? Now, they won't even bother hiding their crimes. When the Mortvi leave the scene of a crime there will be a note upon the victim stating Mortvi Non Mordant, or it will be scrawled somewhere. The Dark Mark is still used, however. But when the newspapers report the deaths and that the "Mortvi" are killing people, the government will let the papers tell it so. But when asked they'll say they aren't apart of the vigilantes. Professional quidditch is on, but now it's more political than ever. Expect it to swell with criminals from all over the world coming to meet your government officials. Businesses will not be allowed to have ties from other countries, the only people allowed to have any is the government, and maybe people they allow. So really, whats with the Latin? It was the language of one of the greatest empires in the world. What about blood purity? Can my character be a fullblood? No. Fullbloods don't exist. You are pureblood, halfblood or muggleborn. You can have variation. You can be 3/4 blood. Or 1/3 blood. You cannot be a fullblood. Let us know their lineage. If they have more than three generations of people with blood over 1/2 then we will consider them first generation purebloods, or something of the like. Do not list fullblood in your application. Please see here. Why are all the Mortvi's PBs so young? Aren't they supposed to be really old? Yes. They are old. They look young because of a potion called Devil's Advocate. It gives them superhuman powers, along with a youthful appearance. You'll have to join the game to know the full effects of it. *wink* 'Nother question? Leave it here.
